We looked immeasurably better defensively when he came on at the weekend, so I hope he doesn't 'fuck off' any time soon given that we're having a good season and he's our best defender

Clearly a shit stirring article with no substance.
Even says we bid for some Nigerian which the club have denied having any contact with. Agent heaven these transfer windows.
I fully expect Sullivan to stick by his word and not let Reid go unless it's for a big fee and we can get a replacement.
It's 2m for every position in the league table so why would you give him away. Easily get our money back even if he's cover on the bench.

We can't let him go now with only two other PL standard centre-backs on our books,and both with uncertain injuries at the moment!
Allardyce must have a good idea of centre backs available in the summer,either bosmans or with only a year left on their contracts. We are more likely to get a decent one then. Reid can bloody well wait.
